Homeschool Days at the ICR Discovery Center
All Creatures Great and Small
Homeschool families are invited to attend Homeschool Days, a two-day, zoology-themed event at the ICR Discovery Center designed to inspire curiosity, learning, and wonder at God's creation. This special event brings together science education and a strong biblical worldview as students explore the incredible diversity, design, and purpose found throughout the animal kingdom.
Dates: Apr 23, 2026 - Apr 24, 2026
Throughout the event, families will enjoy dynamic presentations from ICR speakers and special guest speakers, covering a wide range of zoology topics that highlight how animals were intentionally created to thrive in their environments. From creatures that walk, swim, and fly to the remarkable systems that allow animals to survive and flourish, these talks will help students better understand and appreciate God's handiwork in the world.
Families will also enjoy hands-on activities for all ages, including encounters with a variety of animals, crafts, a fossil petting zoo, dinosaur dig pits, and more!
American Journey Experience
As a special bonus for Homeschool Days 2026, the ICR Discovery Center is partnering with the American Journey Experience to offer a shared Homeschool Days ticket, allowing families who purchase a main Exhibit Hall ticket at either museum on April 23 or 24 to receive complimentary admission to the partner museum's main exhibit hall on either day. Guests will enjoy an expanded, Christ-centered educational experience and exceptional value during Homeschool Days by exploring both museums and receiving access to both main exhibit halls for the price of one.
Homeschool Days is designed to support parents, engage students, and encourage meaningful conversations about science and faith. Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore zoology through the lens of Scripture while enjoying an enriching educational experience - and two museums for the price of one - during Homeschool Days at the ICR Discovery Center.
