“Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee” (Nehemiah 9:6).

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

As a former youth director, I've often wondered why children, especially teens, struggle so intensely with the purpose and meaning of life. Why are they so often directionless, or able to hurt others—possibly even taking other students' lives on the school campus?

He taketh the wise in their own craftiness." (I Corinthians 3:19)

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (II Timothy 2:3,4).
