Mr. Carl Kerby

“Something from Nothing… DeBunked”
Something From Nothing According to a writer for the New York Times, "If ‘On the Origin of Species’ was biology’s deadliest blow to supernaturalism, we may come to see ‘A Universe From Nothing’ as the equivalent from cosmology.” NY-Times 03/23/12. With that being the case, let’s take a critical look at the information and see if it stands up to scrutiny. In this talk we will critique the video that was made for Dr. L.M. Krause’s book tour with Dr. R. Dawkins. The goal is for you to make an informed decision. Don’t trust us, look at the evidence for yourself. Listen to what they have to say to see which view makes more sense: God created everything, or NOTHING created everything?

Dr. Randy Guliuzza

“Taking on Darwin’s Sacred Imposter”
According to evolution, natural selection operates on random mutations and shapes organisms to fit their environments. Sound familiar? In a cutting-edge lecture, ICR’s Dr. Randy Guliuzza shows how this mainstream model fails in light of new scientific research. Rather than being shaped by their environment, creatures themselves sense the environment and adapt accordingly, using internal sensors and brilliant engineering principles. As a professional engineer and a medical doctor, Dr. Guliuzza is uniquely qualified to speak on a range of issues regarding creature adaptation. He brings together scientific arguments and biblical knowledge to conclude that the design explanation is the only one that matches the evidence. He demonstrates that evolution is not only biblically unacceptable, it is scientifically bankrupt. God, not nature, is the true Designer.

Conference Session 5

Mr. Carl Kerby

“Evangelism: 101”
Carl shares from his heart in this powerful, thought provoking talk that will challenge you to evangelize the lost! If we want to reach the world today with the Gospel we’re going to have as many tools at our disposal as possible. One tool that everyone of us can use is, conversation! In this talk Carl uses clips from a popular TV program from Showtime featuring the entertainers Penn and Teller attacking Christianity and the Bible. Carl shows how and how NOT to answer the attacks leveled against Christians. The conclusion is one not soon forgotten where the “power of conversation” is seen first hand. This presentation will help and challenge audiences to be both real and relevant as they learn to talk with, not at, people in order to impact the culture. This talk is a part of the "Becoming Bold Conference - Live at the 3 Mile Project". This talk will address the "Share it!" challenge.

“Five Minutes with a Darwinist”
If you only had five minutes to talk with a friend who believes in evolution, could you quickly topple evolution’s main pillars and present a strong case for creation? Dr. Guliuzza provides the skills necessary for Christians to talk intelligently and succinctly with evolutionists—without references to religion, revelation, or faith.
