6:31 rest a while. Jesus here indicates the need for at least occasional rest for His zealous and concerned followers. No matter how urgent the need of Christian witness and service, the worker must also provide for his own (I Timothy 5:8) and “give attendance to reading” (I Timothy 4:13), especially to provide spiritual food and guidance for himself and his family.
