“The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen” (Colossians 4:18).

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1).

“And you hath He quickened [made alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1).

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man” (James 1:13).

“I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself” (Psalm 119:52).

In this present evil world, there is no greater comfort than the word of God. The word is faithful to record the fact that God indeed takes care of His own. The following are examples of God’s care based on II Peter 2:4–9.
