"Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor" (Proverbs 14:9).

The proverbs are designed to bring stability to those who heed them. These wise sayings cover many subjects; one of which is God's attitude toward those who are "righteous."

"These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you" (John 14:25).

"Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem" (Zeph- aniah 3:14).

The last seven verses of the prophecy of Zephaniah contain a message of future hope and restoration far beyond the nation of Israel's present-day experience.

"For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward" (Mark 9:41).

"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee" (Numbers 6:24).
