Mary Parker, Creation Ministry Partner of Dr. Gary Parker, Is Home with the Lord

Mary Parker, the wife and co-laborer of Dr. Gary Parker, went home to be with her Lord on March 20, 2025.

Dr. Parker was a popular and effective speaker with ICR for many years, and Mary was instrumental in the development of ICR’s first Creation Museum in Santee, California. For decades, she faithfully worked alongside her husband. Together, Gary and Mary Parker established their nonprofit ministry Creation Adventures Museum in Arcadia, Florida.

There they hosted home and Christian schools, church groups, students, and families from at least 22 states and four foreign countries, engaging in outdoor activities to highlight the links between God’s world and God’s Word. Mary Parker led countless fieldtrips searching for fossils, taught creation classes, and prepared materials for innumerable workshops. Always devoted to Gary and the creation ministry, Mary worked at their museum right up to their very recent move to be close to their daughter.

Dr. Randy Guliuzza, president of ICR, said, “Dr. Gary and Mary Parker have always been a huge blessing to ICR and the people that we minister to. If there was Gary, then you’d find Mary! He could never have taught the way he did without Mary!”

Only in eternity will we know just how much Mary Parker accomplished through her ministry with her husband and the ministry of ICR. She has now finished her race (2 Timothy 4:7) and entered into the joy of her Lord (Matthew 25:21). She will be dearly missed, but we rejoice that she is now rejoicing in the Lord’s presence and has surely heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).
