Sand Injectites
A combination of "squishy sand" and seismic shaking was responsible for some of southern Utah's most spectacular landforms. Preserved in this rocky landscape are unmistakable indicators that what is today sandstone was once fluidized sand that was folded and injected into a number of remarkable structures, including dikes and pipes.
Squid Reflects Creation Evidence
Imagine having skin that can mimic your surroundings, or even make you invisible. The Hawaiian bobtail squid (Euprymna scolopes) in the central Pacific has just such an astounding ability. It is designed with special proteins called reflectins that are as beautiful to view as they are amazing in their role.
A Providential Wind
The world before the Flood evidently enjoyed substantial equilibrium. Scripture doesn't provide all the details, but we get the impression that earth movements, ocean currents, and atmospheric circulation were at a minimum.
