In 2020, an interesting evaluation of human evolution was made by a Scientific American science writer. 

In 2021, a fossil of an evidently beautiful bird the size of a bluejay was unearthed from sedimentary deposits in northeastern China. The bird—named Yuanchuavis—had a unique combination of different types of tail feathers not seen before.

Some recent science news stories have come out describing fossils of insects feeding on plants supposedly many “millions of years ago.” What is amazing is the fossil plants and insects are just like the ones we find alive today.¹ All that is different are the grossly inflated evolutionary ages (‘deep evolutionary time’) unnecessarily forced on them.

The world is alive with beetles!

A 2022 study by 17 biologists states, “Beetles constitute the most biodiverse animal order with over 380 000 described species and possibly several million more yet unnamed.”¹

In 1988 a fossil jaw was discovered by paleontologists in San Diego County, California. Decades later the scientists determined it belonged to a relatively unknown carnivore species of the machaeroidines (saber-toothed, placental mammals). The creature was named Diegoaelurus vanvalkenburghae and was about the size of a bobcat with teeth like slicing blades.
