Dr. Jim Johnson will speak on “The Role of Prayer in Contending for the Faith†for a community prayer meeting in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The book of Jude exhorts believers to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints†and to build themselves up on their “most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.†Dr. Johnson will examine the role that prayer plays in personal evangelism and apologetics.
