Mr. Chas Morse and Mr. Frank Sherwin will be speaking for the adult worship services and children's worship service at The Lighthouse Church of Dallas, Texas.
Description
Christians are regularly faced with “scientific†attacks on the first 11 chapters of Genesis. But real observations from biology, geology, paleontology, and other disciplines match the Bible’s depiction of a world that is only thousands of years old. In the adult worship services, Mr. Morse will address the importance of having a biblical worldview of origins and how ones beliefs about the historicity of the Genesis creation account impacts the message of the Gospel. In the children's worship service, Mr. Sherwin will share a fun and educational presentation for children about God's creative design seen in insects.

Mr. Sherwin uses the fossil record to show that insects have always been insects. There is no indication they evolved from non-insects. He also discusses fascinating features of insects today, including the bombardier beetle, morpho butterfly, dragonfly, and the amazing honeybee. |
