“If his offering be a burnt-sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD” (Leviticus 1:3).

“Let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator” (I Peter 4:19).

“Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel” (Psalm 78:41).

Three times in Psalm 78 it is said of the children of Israel that they turned back. It is hard to believe that God’s special people would deliberately turn away from God, yet on numerous occasions they did.

“And there was no water for the people to drink” (Exodus 17:1).

“For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9).

Among the cardinal doctrines of the faith is the deity of Christ. Nothing is more precious to the believer than to understand that our Lord Jesus Christ is “fully God.”
