In the minds of many, creation thinking is marginalized to a "fundamentalist" few. But let's look again.

The beginning of the new year means it's time to look back and rehearse God's blessings, and there are many. It's also time to refocus on the task ahead, for much remains to be done. As a member of ICR's larger family, please rejoice and dream together with us as you read this short summary.

The Green River oil shales have provided one of the very strongest arguments for millions of years, or at least one of the most used.

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God" (Hebrews 6:1).

". . . God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (I Timothy 2:3-4).

The verses preceding our text encourage believers to be in prayer "for all men" (v.1), including "all that are in authority" (v.2), that our own lives might be "quiet and peaceable," as well as for their salvation.
