Animals designed to fly are classified into four groups: the extinct flying reptiles (pterosaurs), insects, mammals (bats), and birds. According to the creation model, bats and birds were created on Day 5 as bats and birds.

Uncovering animal tracks and trackways in sedimentary rocks is a testament to the Genesis Flood.^1–4 Fascinating discoveries continue to be made with the latest trackway (200 footprints) being unearthed in Oxfordshire, England.⁵ The longest trackway is estimated to be 492 ft (150 m) in length and is probably longer. And therein lies the problem.

We read in the first chapter of Romans that God loves us so much that He has given us a general revelation of what He has created. Verse 19 states, “what may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has shown it to them.” This is certainly true in the field of biological systems.
