Jellyfish (Scyphozoa) are truly fascinating creatures with a vague and imprecise evolutionary record. Evolutionary scientists Daphne Fautin and Sandra Romano state, "The four extant cnidarian classes [including jellyfish] are identifiable as early as the Ordovician, but evolutionary relationships among them have been the subject of much debate."¹

National Geographic News recently stated that a species of Russian moth with a thirst for human blood demonstrates “evolution at work.”¹ The moth, Calyptra thalictri, was filmed boring into a researcher’s thumb, evidently to draw a blood meal.

There are at least a half-million species of plants in the world. Although they do not contain living souls,¹ plants nevertheless display incredible design features and complex interactions with other plants and insects. Plants have immune systems that seem to be every bit as biochemically complex as those in vertebrates.
