Do Ancient Fish Point to Shoulder Evolution?

Did your shoulders evolve from ancient fish? Creationists would say no, because we don’t have fish ancestors.1,2,3

However, research from the Imperial College London states, “A new analysis of the bones and muscles in ancient fish gives new clues about how the shoulder evolved in animals—including us.”4

The fossil record clearly shows insects have always been insects.

In a recent study, researchers led by biologist Richard J. Knecht, a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard, wrote:

Butterflies and Cancer Detection

It’s something right out of science fiction. The beautiful, flighty butterfly has been discovered to have cancer detection properties via the ability to see tiny variations in the ultraviolet spectrum.

An ''Early'' Origin for Modern Echolocation in Bats

As flying mammals, bats continue to amaze zoologists with their incredible abilities.1,2 But their origin continues to be an enigma for conventional biologists because the creatures appear in the fossil record complete, fully formed as bats without evolutionary precursors.

Built by Homo sapiens?

Preserved wood was recently found in Kalambo Falls, Zambia, where evolutionary anthropologists from Aberystwyth University and the University of Liverpool suggest “early humans intentionally shaped and combined two logs, showcasing the deliberate crafting of logs to fit together.”1 The designed pieces were dated at almost a half-million years (476,000 years ago).
