Hello, I’m Bill West, ICR’s System Administrator. Thirteen years ago, a man dedicated to God’s Word shared the gospel with me, and I became a Christian. Even so, I wasn’t ready to accept Genesis as true history. Like many people, I had heard all my life that the earth and universe were billions of years old. It wasn’t until I understood the assumptions in dating “old” rocks that I realized I could start trusting the Bible. It took a lot of reading, but I am convinced now more than ever that the Word of God is true.

I love driving with my daughter. There’s something about our car rides that brings out her tough questions. I taught her that she can trust my answers but that she should always verify what I’m saying. Truth can withstand scrutiny. On many occasions, she will ask questions that make me think. I’m so glad ICR has prepared me to discuss challenging issues related to science and the Bible.

When ICR completes the Discovery Center for Science and Earth History, it will provoke questions from both believers and skeptics. But if they take advantage of the incredible knowledge and resources ICR offers, they’ll find answers that build their faith and confidence that God’s Word can be trusted—from the first page to the last.
