We all love Christmas time. Much more than merely a time of singing and celebration, it's a time of family gathering, of gift giving, of collective thankfulness, of sweet memories, and great anticipation.

Usually this column is reserved for relevant creation issues, but this month it includes a "Tribute" to the late Ronald Reagan. ICR, being in California, has had a number of contacts with his former staff. All of them relate his Christian and creationist commitments and how he openly lived out his Christian testimony.

Along with the rest of the nation, ICR mourned the recent death of former President Ronald Reagan. From all accounts, he was truly a dedicated Christian, as well as creationist. We will see him again.

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

Ever since ICR's founding in 1970, the creation/evolution debates have played an important role. At first evolutionists readily accepted the challenge leading to numerous large debates. However, word soon got out that the ICR scientists, primarily Drs. Duane Gish and Henry Morris, were well-prepared and convincing.
