Strange Strings

I was recently reminded of an unusual article1 which appeared many years ago in a leading science journal. The article had the fascinating sub-title, "Prius Dementat," a Latin phrase meaning "They First Make Mad." This was essentially a shortened form of an old proverb: "Whom the gods seek to destroy, they first make mad."

My Dream

With all due apologies to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I also have long had a dream—a dream of a great Christian creationist university and educational center, with teaching and research programs in all important disciplines at all levels of higher education.

On the Vital Ministry of Teaching

Willingly Ignorant

As creationists repeatedly encounter the refusal of our secular evolutionists even to consider the evidence for special creation and against evolution, we are tempted to apply to them such pejoratives as "intolerance," "narrow-mindedness," "bigotry," and the like. But the pungent phrase of the apostle Peter is probably the most appropriate of all—"they willingly are ignorant."
