After my recent university lecture on scientific creationism, a student referenced a Bible passage in Leviticus regarding insects to imply that the Bible contained errors and that Christianity and creation thinking are false.

These are indeed exciting times to be a Bible-believing Christian! Recent secular scientific research has concluded drastically shorter time spans for geological and biological processes that traditionally had been “proven” to take “millions of years.” In some cases, time spans have been in total agreement with Biblical timeline. Take, for example, the time given for the dinosaur demise.

Biology, a word derived from two Greek words, bios ("life") and logos ("word") is "the study of life." The Bible is the written word of God, according to its own claims and an abundance of evidence.
