Peak District National Park was established in 1951 as Great Britain’s first national park. Now that upland park is experiencing another historic highlight—the rare bearded vulture has arrived there to roost.¹

The only other British sighting of a Bearded Vulture occurred back in 2016 in Monmouthshire.²
