Removal of wisdom teeth has become commonplace in western countries. Based on evolutionary training, many dentists assume that wisdom teeth are "vestigial," useless evolutionary left-overs from our simian ancestry when jaws were larger.

There are many aspects of ICR which make working here an absolute joy. Of course the mission of ICR, to uncover and transmit truth about origins, both Biblical and scientific, is crucial to the health of our world. Furthermore, creation research is often at the forefront of science, and our duty to call science back to a God-glorifying function is a blessing.

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (Psalm 1:3).

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful” (Psalm 1:1).

One of the most tragic figures in all of Scripture is that of compromising Lot, Abraham’s nephew, who renounced the land of promise for the sinful society of Sodom, ultimately to lose everything of importance.

“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” (II Peter 3:6).
