"I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears" (Psalm 34:4).

There are many things in such a world as ours which can bring fear into human hearts -- fear of want, fear of war, fear of rejection, fear of the dark, and a multitude of
others. Some fears are rational, some are foolish, but all are very serious to those who experience them.

"Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy" (I Peter 2:10).

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you" (John 15:16).

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel" (Galatians 1:6).

"And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes" (Luke 19:41-42).
