“All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies” (Psalm 25:10).

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple ” (Romans 16:17,18).

“But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased” (Psalm 115:3).

We often raise questions about God’s actions, but He is never obligated to explain to us His reasons. It is enough to know that it pleased Him, for whatever He does is right by definition.

“I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only” (Psalm 71:16)

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone” (Matthew 23:23).
