The creation/evolution debates have become a most popular and visible activity. Since the very first, they have usually been very well attended and have precipitated much controversy in the community. But while it has been said that they generate "more heat than light," it does behoove us to evaluate the response to them.

While nearly all geology professors on the university level accept the concept of the ancient age for the earth, I hold the young-earth position, and do so without compromise, for several reasons:

Many today claim that only evolution should be taught in the public, tax-supported schools of our land. Let us look at their reasoning and formulate a response.

Creationists and evolutionists agree on real science…that is, the nature of the present world and how it operates. What we disagree on are our speculations about the past.
