“And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will l give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him” (Genesis 12:7).

“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust” (Psalm 91:2).

Recently a reporter from a major international newspaper came to ICR to research a story on the influence of creation thinking on society. At his request, I guided him through the ICR museum. His interest was perked at the display on abortion, which showed the marvelous design of the unborn baby and how abortion is based on an evolutionary concept.

“To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8:6,7).

This passage defines for us both the carnal mind and the spiritual mind, not with formal definitions, but by giving equivalent terms.

“And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician: but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:31,32).
