The Ministry And The Word
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” (II Corinthians 5:20).
We, as emissaries of God, must be about the business of imploring people to “be reconciled to God,” for God “hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ” (v.18) and has a desire to see many others likewise reconciled.
In Time Of Trouble
“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock” (Psalm 27:5).
Apostasy And Prosperity
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (II Corinthians 9:8).
Flee
“Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (I Corinthians 6:18).
