
What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?
This age-old question really has a simple answer. Attempts to answer it, however, and attempts to get around implications of the simple answer are often quite convoluted.
Recapping 2004 at ICR
As the year 2004 comes to a close, and the year 2005 brings new opportunities, we can only say with the psalmist, "This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes" (Psalm 118:23). For all these 34 years of ICR's existence, He has supplied every need and given such victories that we can only stand in awe of Him, and express our thankfulness and praise.
He Shall Never Be Moved
"Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?" (Psalm 15:1).
The first verse of the majestic 15th Psalm poses the question, "Who is worthy to be a guest of God?" The following verses provide us with a lofty list of actions and attributes which, if followed to perfection, would make one worthy.
Imputed Sin
"Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life" (Romans 5:18).
How Young Is the Young Earth?
According to the mainstream Big Bang idea, our universe abruptly sprang into existence some 15 billion years ago, sending matter careening through space. After millions of years it had cooled enough to coalesce into billions of rotating proto galactic-discs, and much later into stars.
