Without a doubt, Earth is round, or nearly so. Using careful measurements from the ground and observations from space we can be certain it is essentially a sphere, with only minor bulging near the equator.

In ICR's early days, and even when the fledgling creation movement was just getting started, the few credentialed scientists who believed in creation were much in demand.

"For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now" (Romans 8:22).

"And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:11).

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deuteronomy 6:4-5).
