The escalating conflict between ICR and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) concerns many educators, and should concern them all. Remember, ICR's accreditation is not at issue. Rather, ICR is only seeking to relocate its graduate school from California to Texas.
A Response to Threat
"He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day." (Psalm 91:4-5)

An Interesting Sighting
Graduate students in the sciences tend to be an intriguing lot. As a professor, I've met some truly unique individuals, who often have very interesting life histories. One ICR grad student told me how, before she had accepted Christ as her Savior, she and friends traveled to Scotland in hopes of seeing the elusive Loch Ness Monster.

The Mythical Horse Series
Horse evolution prominently appears in textbooks as a supreme example of the evolution of one body style into another. All students remember the "horse series" sketches, tracing the development of a small browser named Hyracotherium (formerly known as Eohippus) with four toes on the front feet and three on the rear, into the large one-toed horse of today.

The Origin of Flight
Evolution has many steep obstacles to overcome. Many are the stupendous design characteristics and environmental balances that can scarcely be understood by today's scientists, let alone mimicked. Yet evolution must work alone with random mutations (usually harmful and therefore discarded) and unthinking natural selection, which cannot see the future or do anything novel on its own.
