Praising the Lord

"Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul." (Psalm 146:1)

Each of the last five psalms (146-150) begins and ends with: "Praise ye the LORD"--i.e., "Hallelujah." They comprise a sort of "Hallelujah Chorus": a grand epilogue to the five books which make up the complete book of Psalms.

The First Stone

"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)

Son of God

"|God| hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds." (Hebrews 1:2)

Prosperity Versus Contentment

"But godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:6)

Creation & Resurrection

The two greatest events in the history of the cosmos were, first of all, its supernatural creation and, secondly, the resurrection of its Creator from the dead. The evidence for each, to one whose mind and heart are open to evidence, is overwhelming. All true science points to creation, and the best-proved fact of history is the resurrection.
