The most influential founders and proponents of modern evolutionism were not always objective and unemotional scientists. Most of their modern followers would like for us to think of them as interested only in discovering and teaching truth. Instead, they often seem to have been driven by very unscientific feelings and motivations.

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15).

“But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23).

“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your father” (Matthew 10:29).

“And He began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winevat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country” (Mark 12:1).
