"I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me" (Psalm 119:30).

It has now been almost 50 years since a committee of evangelical geologists rebuked me about a paper I had just presented at the 1953 convention of the American Scientific Affiliation.

"Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy right-eousness in the land of forgetfulness?" (Psalm 88:12).

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea" (Isaiah 11:11).

"Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands" (Hebrews 2:7).
