In a culture virtually convinced that the world is billions of years old, few people listen to evidence that clearly supports a young Earth. But that's what the Bible teaches. And plenty of science, including four finds from 2016, backs up the Bible's version of Earth history.

2016 revealed Cretaceous bird-feather proteins, original dinosaur-skin tissue, Triassic mosasaur blood vessels, and organic remnants from ancient fossil microbes. These four finds challenge scientists to question the popular model.

Donald Burke, Dean of the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh, recently wrote in the journal Science, "Since 2000, almost half a million Americans have died from drug overdoses."¹ This "modern plague…degrades health, saps productivity, spawns crime, and devastates families, all at enormous societal cost."¹

I recently encountered a young man with no confidence in the Bible. His high school teacher taught him that a cluster of Catholic clergy cobbled the Scriptures together long after the events they describe—events like the Lord Jesus rising from the dead and the apostles traveling the world to proclaim His resurrection. Was his teacher right?
