Reaching a New Generation

I’m Jeff Tomkins, the Director of Life Sciences at ICR. Unlike many researchers working in the field of creation science, I was not raised with a strong Christian background. For the most part, my secular upbringing was steeped in evolutionary science and philosophy.

I became a Christian in the 1980s, and my new faith and worldview were radically changed when I first encountered ICR materials. I started reading ICR Founder Dr. Henry Morris’ book Scientific Creationism, and my eyes were opened—everything made perfect biblical and scientific sense. The arguments for creation were thoroughly rock solid. I began reading other ICR books, especially those by the late biochemist Duane Gish. I was hooked.

Now I am part of the next generation of ICR scientists leading the charge in proclaiming God’s truth through the wonders of science. Jesus told His disciples to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). The new ICR Discovery Center will become a key asset and partner for many Christians and churches in both evangelism and discipleship—not only in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but all over the United States and the world.

Please support the completion of this important effort to reach a new generation with the truth of our mighty Creator.
