It’s hard to believe, but in another month most of us will send our children back to school. Homeschoolers may be trying out new curriculum. Among the various subjects covered, science will have an impact—perhaps more so than most of the other subjects our children will study.

Seminar and conference attendees may be familiar with seeing the Institute for Creation Research booth. ICR attends over a hundred events every year, and the booth is a great way for people to stop by and chat with ICR staff and faculty.

Think back for a minute to when you were a middle school student. What subjects were you interested in? English, math, history? Science, perhaps? What if you had been given the opportunity to study scientific evidence from a crime scene investigation (CSI) methodology perspective?

Evolution predicts that as new species of animals are developed by mutation and selection, they will form offspring that will not interbreed. This prevents the new species from being recombined back into the taxonomies of their progenitors. Consequently, part of the definition for species--according to evolution--is that they will not interbreed and have offspring.
