Research into insect eyes continues to reveal amazing structure and function. For example, although fruit flies’ eyes are attached firmly to their heads, it was discovered that their retinas can move internally to smoothly track visual motion.¹

The word evolution is often used imprecisely, leading the public to believe that any biological change is evolution, and, therefore, it’s a fact.¹ But phenotypic variation within the same species has nothing to do with evolution.
