Another year has gone by. During that year, whom did we allow to influence us, and what attitudes did we and our children adopt?

Whom do we want our children to be like? Who is a role model for our children? Do our children have heroes?

Recently I had the opportunity to speak at a Christian college where the majority of professors do not accept a literal Genesis.

The ministry of ICR has many different facets, and, of course, we specialize in studying origins and the book of Genesis. However, regardless of whether we are involved in technical scientific research, or communicating information to the public, our major aims include seeing people commit their lives to Jesus Christ, and building up the faith and witnessing ability of Christians.

Someone once asked me how we should approach those from totally different cultures who were coming to live in the culture we have grown up in. Should we urge them to capitulate totally to our own cultural ways or should we encourage them to maintain all of their own cultural distinctions as they live within our culture? How should we approach this issue?

If we take God at His Word, we must say that a straightforward reading of Genesis makes it obvious that there was no death or bloodshed of animals before Adam was created. In fact, there was no death or bloodshed of man or animals until after Adam sinned.

From Genesis to Revelation, interpreting Scripture with Scripture, it is plain to see that this was so. Consider:
