Isaac Asimov, President of the American Humanist Association, science fiction writer, ardent evolutionist, and active anti-creationist, died recently.

The Gulf War may be over for the time being, but a far greater battle—one that has lasted some six thousand years—continues on, and those in the creation ministry are part of the army that is on the front lines.

I was flying back to San Diego recently, when the video being shown on the in-flight entertainment system caught my attention.

"There is no way the six days of creation are meant to be taken as six literal, twenty-four hour days," stated a Christian at a recent seminar.

"Why not?" I asked.

Someone at a meeting said to me "If you stand on the devil's toes, he is going to react. You people in the foundational creation ministry are really stamping on his toes. Be prepared for a major reaction."
