Psalms 31:24
31:24 be of good courage. This encouraging exhortation was often used in preparation for battle (e.g., Joshua 1:7). It is appropriate for our very real spiritual battle as well.
Psalm 32 (title) Maschil. This is the first of thirteen maschil psalms (Psalm 32, 42, 44, 45, 52, 53, 54, 55, 74, 78, 88, 89, 142). “Maschil” seems to mean an emotionally contemplative song.
