I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
 

17:6 manifested. Jesus “manifested”—that is, “openly declared”—God’s name as “Father” to all who would become His children through faith in the Lord Jesus. Compare John 1:18.
