27:1 thou knowest not. A believer should keep short accounts. “Now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2). Our lives are “a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away” (James 4:14). It is vital that we be “redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16).
