Thursday, September 17, is North Texas Giving Day, with early giving opening today! ICR is only where it is now because of the faithful, gracious donors who believe in our mission to honor Jesus Christ as the Creator and bolster confidence in His Word through science. We are so grateful for our donors and the fruitful work they allow us to do, and we invite you to join in furthering ICR’s ministry and the gospel through research and the Discovery Center in Dallas, Texas.
Anyone who donates between August 27 and September 17 will be eligible for a giveaway of two yearlong premium family memberships to the Discovery Center on North Texas Giving Day. These giveaways will happen at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on September 17.
Thus far, gifts have enabled ICR to build microscopic, molecular, and mass spectrometry labs to continue our invaluable scientific studies that again and again confirm the historicity and reliability of Scripture. Two world-class scientists have joined our team to conduct this research and to educate, inspire, and exhort our audience to be more in awe of our Creator with their knowledge and discoveries. Past support has also built a state-of-the-art studio to produce engaging media like our Creation Podcast that receives millions of views each year.
Additionally, with your help, the quality of our creation museum and planetarium gets better and better each year with exhibit additions, kiosk updates in the exhibit hall, exciting special events, new shows, and instructive resources that expand our reach to audiences of all ages from around the world. Your generosity on North Texas Giving Day will help us continue to improve the Discovery Center so more lives can be changed by the wonders of God’s creation and the truth of His Word.
Exciting Upcoming Developments
- Planetarium Improvements: Exciting things are coming to our planetarium, including a new projection system that will elevate your visual experience and make your visit even more immersive. These upgrades will also pave the way for new planetarium projects to come!
- Founders Hall Updates: A new LED screen is coming to Founders Hall to enhance presentations, special events, and educational experiences in one of the Discovery Center’s main gathering spaces.
- Exhibit Media Upgrades: We are continuing to develop and update kiosk content throughout the Discovery Center with plans to translate the content into more languages to reach new audiences.
