50th Anniversary Edition of 'The Genesis Flood' Just Released

How do you measure the impact of your life? Fortune? Fame? Power? What is it that determines your mark upon this world?

For believers in Jesus Christ, we measure our success by our obedience to God, regardless of how the world perceives our accomplishments. We are to be faithful messengers of His truth even when we see little fruit. However, if we do our work well, and in a way that honors our Lord, we can rest in the fact that He will take our faithful service and transform it into the fruit He wants harvested, sometimes many years after we have completed our lives on this earth.

In rare circumstances, a man's life and Christian witness have a profound public impact upon the world. Rarer still is the man who can assume that public role with humility for his entire life.

Fifty years ago, two godly men were thrust into a public ministry that still reverberates with the lasting legacy of their faithfulness to God and to His Word. John Whitcomb and Henry Morris publicly placed their love for the Creator and His Word above all else, and their book, The Genesis Flood, published in 1961, continues to impact the Church and the world.

"The Genesis Flood is as timely, thought-provoking, and helpful as ever. A tour de force and a must-read resource for pastors, teachers, scientists, and anyone who is troubled by the conflict between the biblical account of creation and the ever-changing claims of modern evolutionary theory," writes Dr. John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California.

This year we celebrate this classic work with the release of the 50th Anniversary Edition of The Genesis Flood, now available with a new look and new material from Dr. John Whitcomb, as well as a memorial foreword by Drs. Henry Morris III and John Morris, the sons of ICR founder Dr. Henry Morris.

Visit our 50th Anniversary site online and read about the new edition, and watch a recent interview with Dr. John Morris about how this classic book has changed the world.
