Memorials
Some of the ICR donors have sent in special gifts "in memory of" Dr. H. M. Morris. Memorials are a long cherished custom in Christian nations--since the Scriptures recognize that "special" events deserve preservation beyond the "memory" of the existing generation.
Teaching the Teachers
Long-time readers of Acts & Facts are well aware that ICR has mainly focused its teaching and outreach toward the leaders of Christ's Kingdom here on Earth. We are convinced that the "job" is far too big to do merely through media, seminars, and church services—although we do as much of this as humanly possible.
Guiding Lamp or Simply Luster
ICR speakers are often confronted about our insistence on a "literal" approach to Genesis—most often about our "interpretation" that the words of Scripture require viewing the created universe as "young." Usually, the argument is made that "science" has "proven" the Earth to be very old, and that we (ICR) are hurting our ability to "witness" by ignoring the "evidence."
A Donor's Perspective
". . . neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing" (II Samuel 24:24).
ICR recently received its largest single gift from an individual. His gracious comments need to be shared with all of our donors.
Strategic Focus
ICR has recently completed an intensive evaluation of its strategic focus for the next few years and has just released an "Expectation" of the Lord's supply to meet those goals. In the secular world such thinking and formal requests are called a "Prospectus." Here are the main elements of "expectation" that will enable ICR to implement the work.
