This month, creation scientists from all over the globe are gathering in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the sixth International Conference on Creationism. The modern creation movement is largely considered to have been launched by the 1961 publication of The Genesis Flood by Dr. Henry Morris and Dr. John Whitcomb.

Scenic places fascinate geologists, especially vistas that generate profound thoughts. Sometimes these thoughts challenge our customary ways of viewing our world. On my "top ten list" of favorite places on earth is Red Rock Pass, a little-known landform between two rather unimportant mountain ranges in southern Idaho.

Millions of people around the world believe it is, but not everyone understands the weight of evidence that verifies the accuracy of the 6-day creation account, the special design and creation of the first man and woman, the young age of the earth and universe, and the catastrophic global flood of Noah's day that critically impacted life on earth.
