In spite of the many discouraging "testimonies" from skeptical intellectuals these days (see, for example, the sad testimony from Carl Sagan, as discussed in this month's Impact article), we continue to receive many thrilling testimonies of God's blessings on personal lives through the uplifting message of creation, redemption, and divine purpose which is now going out all over the world.

The Urge to Submerge

"I must go down to the sea again--to the lonely sea and the sky." This famous poem by John Masefield, former Poet Laureate of England, was one I had to memorize in school many, many years ago. It is a beautiful and moving poem, but I could never identify with it myself.

Genesis and the Resurrection
