Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with ° evil, neither tempteth he any ° man:
 

1:13 God cannot be tempted. Since Jesus was God, and did not cease being God when He also became man, this statement assures us that Jesus not only did not sin, but also that He could not sin.
