And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
 

39:1 holy garments. God had described in detail the garments for Aaron and his sons (Exodus 28), as they were to minister as priests in the tabernacle. These also were made, as described in this chapter.
