The book of Proverbs has much to say about the behavior of those it calls “fools.” The two Hebrew words translated “fool” are used more in Proverbs than in all the rest of the Bible together. One such type of fool is that pseudo-intellectual who scoffs at the idea that certain acts are sinful.
